I guess it became necessary that I begin posting here again, even if the last few weeks have been majorly uneventful, even if it was the holidays. With school just over the horizon, and the burden of Year 12 looming, my time is becoming short for things like games, blogging, ponies and other forms of recreation. And as a result, it looks like I'm going to have to abandon at least one of these things. I guess the games that I bought years ago off Steam but never got around to playing will have to wait a bit longer (I'm looking at you, Metro 2033!). As for the ponies, I couldn't possibly abandon those late night Livestreams of the latest episode. Because watching it with a small group of like minded people on the Internet is an absolute blast, and I don't regret coming to tutor the that morning feeling half-dead (okay, maybe a little). But at least Season 2 will come to a close by May, so there will be some time for catching up on sleep and general studying. Shoot, I need to pick up my uniform tomorrow. Well, see you around, Blogger, until the next time.

Well, I guess I may as well get back into the blogging mood... so.

October 26th, 2011

The beginning of this uh, muck-up week/day thing has gone somewhat normally, the only oddity being a set of lockers being completely turned upside down. But anyway, a bit weird to see the class of 2012 go, now that us  Elevenths will be the elder year for the next few weeks...

Following school me and a few of my mates headed into the city for random wanderings before having to go to St. Patrick's Cathedral for choir rehearsal before the Year 12 Valedictory Mass. Again, weird feeling seeing as their time is coming to a close, even if I hardly talk to any of them. What's weirder is that we're going to be in their shoes in the coming weeks. Man, time sure does... fly.

After the mass, five of us decided to head out for dinner at some restaurant. Turned out to be some buffet, and we got stuffed. The food was great, and many awesome moments. Larry the Prawn, for instance. And Henry the baby octopus, lul. Ended up hanging around there for about two hours, getting fat, taking photos of things, generally dicking around with the food, yeah.

Afterwards? well, the five of us walked to Flinders Street. And sang church hymns (and Frosty The Snowman!) the whole way. It was hilarious, and a whole lot of fun, especially the reactions from general population and the buskers that we walked past xD We should have filmed it, but eh, when we tried it kinda failed. Guess things only really work spontaneously.

Missed the Sydenham train at Flinders, decided to get picked up at Footscray by catching the Werribee train instead with fellow friend Johnny. I survived, just so you know.

Finally got home, chatted it up with a few of the bronies on facebook and finished a literature oral. And now I'm here completing the first actual blog post in a while. And I think I'll just leave it at that.

cbf typing huge chunks of text so
• Manifest. my legs died, cool people to look at, expensive stuff to buy. pew pew
• came home and went on Facebook. and then about 5 of my friends decided to force a formal partner on me because of my refusal to get one. Which turned out pretty weird. And apparently I have a date with someone I have no idea of, apart from conversations through facebook chat.
• screwed for literature and accounting sac

Woke up at 11:30am (GOD DOMMOT), alone at home for the rest of the week. But I guess i'll manage O_o. Tried to finish off my Psychology ERA but only really ended up finishing my Abstract (at least it was something) because I got distracted by The Lonely Island videos on YouTube. -facepalm- In particular, I got kinda caught up watching "Like a Boss" along with the trailer for GRID (some racing game) which you can probably watch aft the jump O_o

Oh, and I've currently become obsessed with this song. Yay Florence + The Machine.

Anyway, got tutor soon, WHEEEEEEEEE

Woke up at 11am (yay no sport)" had lunch and was then immediately dragged off to my uncle's workshop where I had to help my dad and my uncle with fixing cars. And me having no prior experience with those things, reluctantly assisted, while playing Pokemon. The aftermath? Vaguely interesting insight into the workings of cars. Sort of. Maybe. Nah. But at least I know how to replace spark plugs now. wat

The rest of the day was spent doing tutor homework, and then played a bit of Recettear, Counter Strike and Portal 2. Man, the former and latter are excellent. Especially that crazy co-op which I had to abruptly end because my dad told me to go to sleep. Sigh.

Well, tutor tomorrow, gotta crash.

postscript: I need to go out much more these holidays, I mean I have three weeks.
postpostscript: I probably won't anyway
postpostpostscript: Lizzie's new pet cat is saaa cute. I don't know if I want to touch it though 3:
postpostpostpostscript: LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening is excellent.
postpostpostpostpostscript: okay i'll stop.

So, Internet is back, holidays have begun, plenty of homework to do, Steam holiday sales, three weeks to be bored, train lines under construction, what gives?

I am going to be pretty bored.

So, I thought I had lost my iPod earphones after a few days, so I borrowed my sister's pair. And then I found out they were actually sitting in my blazer breast pocket the whole time.

And now I can't find my sister's earphones. Derp.

When there's nothing left to do, blog I guess. Things have been really boring lately, even with only 7 days of school left, I have been feeling awfully down, although that's probably just Lavender taking my place.

Double IT, bludged.
Math, meh.
Psychology, awesome.
Tutor period? African. (some guys from Africa came and talked to us about life there and education and whatnot).
Getting new timetable due to subject change? Yay And nay. (Probably due to the fact that as a result i'm changing English classes (boo!) because it clashed with the subject I wanted to do (Literature) so now I have English when I would usually have Economics (the subject I dropped).
Double English? Lol, bludge.
Sport training? Meh.
Getting home and not being able to see Elizabeth? Sigh.
Tutor? Productive but made me want to sleep.
Missing Angry Boys because it starts when tutor finishes and ends when I get home, and being unable to watch it on iView because we have no Internet for several weeks? Major facepalm, even though the show kind of blows o.o

Being bored? Very yes.

Ending blog post? Probably.

In other news, I installed Joli OS onto my computer. Pretty nifty, I must say, and as a obsessive web user, it meets all of my needs perfectly.

And then I wasted my time watching past episodes of Doctor Who. :)

Woke up at 7:20 today, decided to take a later train because I felt like it. And because of my lazy sister, I was very, very late. Got to school at 10pm, and then proceeded to cram for maths exam part 2. It actually ended up not being so bad, and I felt I did better than the first part, which really, was terrible.

Got back to Sunshine just in time before Elizabeth was about to leave, and she gave me a ridiculous rectangular oval-shaped rock with googly eyes, which she and her friends thoughtfully named Boggle Sexy Gaga. It's silly, and shall be our child. wat.

Got home incredibly bored, spent most of the evening trying to entertain myself but with no luck. It's so dull around here, I really need something to do o.o

On a side note, Lavender is slowly beginning to revert to his original self. My chances of there being a fourth descent into darkness? Rising slowly each day. Anyway, heading off to bed because well i'm a tired bored person. Oh and did I mention I had a day off tomorrow?

Woke up at 7:10 today, almost panicked about being late for the Ethics exam. because ethics is a pretty serious subject... (lol fuck no it's terrible). I guess to pass the time during the exam I involuntary couldn't stop thinking about Elizabeth, but eh, that did little to hinder what I was doing o.o Came out relatively fine, finished half an hour early, considering it is a massive bullshit-fest anyway. Spent the next 3 hours studying for the psychology exam... and got a massive headache. The actual turned out to be well... a lot easier this time round, probably because half of it was freaking multiple choice, but then again, I was fighting with a headache while doing it, so ow. O_o

Managed to finally see her this afternoon, but I promptly had to go anyway, and plus her mum didn't really like me spending too much time with her 3: But well, simply being able to see her is good enough for me. :)

Came home still with the horrible headache, then proceeded to shower and go to bed early (6pm) and skipped tutor only to wake up 4 hours later thinking I hate slept for ages and had also missed Angry Boys. raeg.

End of blogging capacity. Oh, math part two exam tomorrow. I am so dead D:

So, day one of exams. Managed to wake up at quarter to 7 (thank you Born This Way, you make some pretty good alarm material, especially the uplifting (pun intended) The Edge of Glory. Lul. Got to school about half an hour before the English exam, spent that time well, mucking around. And screaming out loud to make me feel better. Well, in terms of keeping out stress and nerves, it works, okay? x)

Got out of the English exam fairly satisfied, managed to finish all two essays and language analysis, chilled/studied for a fair bit before the Economics exam at 2pm. The results of that I can say are... alright. May have sounded a bit more pessimistic than I would have liked, probably because I had no idea about 1 question and had a blank on another.

The rest of the day was rather uneventful, headed home, gave the mX to Elizbeth's mum at the store and promptly departed*. Went home, had dinner then went back to tutor for more revision on the maths exam tomorrow. And now he I am again. Ending a blog post.

-Josephina Gaga-a

*Elizabeth's mum is kinda acting as a barrier between us it seems, she finds our behaviour particularly strange, especially with the hugging. Oh and she says I should be home studying insteading of raiding the shop all the time. Which I clearly don't. :/

**Somebody help me, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall has been on non-stop for at least an hour a day... and i'm still not sick of it yet. Hurry up and release another single/ album Coldplay! :(

on Wednesday, June 1, 2011

New month. New season. (Pokemon-wise, too!) Woke up at 7am this morning, which is new because usually I would wake up much later. Won't go into details of what the hell happened for most of the morning, because i'm sure it's too exciting to talk about -end sarcasm-

Periods go as follows.
Double IT. eh, revision.
Math. eh, revision.
Psychology. Personality, and eh, revision. Oh and I scraped an A+ in my test on mental health which was awesome, but funnily enough I do worse on multiple choice than in short answer as of now. heh
Tutor Period: basically just did meditation in the chapel, or more like just falling asleep all period.
Double Economics: Well, teacher was away, spent the double doing... nothing. (okay not really, there was some revision (sigh) and that sudoku game I wasted a whole period on but didn't finish)

Sport training was pretty empty, considering our coach (who is also my economics teacher) was away, leading to aforementioned absentees. Afterwards, chilled in the school library before accounting lecture at 6pm, where Wikipedia races happened, from a range of topics such as Taeyang to bulimia nervosa, and potatoes to homosexuality happened. Hehe.

Before the accounting lecture we got free pizza, which was awesome, and as of the lecture itself, it was pretty good. Described by my friend Gary as being "better than the lectures he paid for", I guess I got quite a lot out of it as well.

So then it was about 7:30PM when we finished, headed home via train with Gary, in which I decided to catch the Williamstown train with him and switch at Footscray, and in the meantime joke about how I should text him to make sure that I was still alive. No matter, got home quite safely, and bored, and skipped tutor in the process as a result.

And now i'm bored and want to zzzzzzzz

She seems to have lost herself, the internet has become reality for her. She shows little interest in school and almost everyone there (with the exception of Elizabeth), and persists in not going, instead insisting on being home schooled. On the Internet though, she has quite the presence, appearing under the veil as a happy go-lucky kid, friendly towards others. To think that I had it pretty bad with Lavender (and I still do at times when he's haunting me), but I guess I'd have to hand it to my sister. Does she not realise what she's doing with her life, and yet refuse help from anyone, including her own family?

So this midyear break, I am definitely going to learn how to cook. zzz

Hi, here is obligatory (not really) 'daily post'. Lul.

Stayed up until 2am last night playing Born This Way Revenge (it's Tap Tap) and as of then I was no.1 in the world on every track excluding the easier difficulty boss tracks. Overall satisfied with the level of difficulty. Will probably go about wasting my time reviewing it later.

Woke up at 7:20, ended up catching the 7:38 (boy am I lazy) and got to school late because the Glen Waverley line was horribly delayed :/ In the meantime I was still pretty tired and studying for psychology and blah. Today's itenary were as follows:
Double IT. Worked on some group assignment, but it seems all responsibility has been transferred to me since our group leader left for camp and the other guy is quite the slacker. Hmm. Meanwhile slept.
Math. Oh my god graphs arrrrghgggg. And sleeping.
Psychology. Had a test on mental health, it wasn't so bad I guess. The sleeping was pretty good, though.

Followed by that I had an economics excursion, and in the meanwhile my teacher was constantly reminding other teachers about my perfect score I got in the last economics test, and I'm starting to find that a bit annoying like the time he wouldn't stop talking about some random flukey smash I pulled off in a match of table teens one day. Meh. So excursion involved us going to the reserve bank of Australia for some presentation. It was a presentation of quite epic proportions though, it was 1.5 hours long and then I struggled to stay awake o.o

Excursion ended, we were all allowed to head home (early). Was planning to head to Flinders St to grab the mX for Elizabeth, but it just happened that due to the new timetable trains don't really go to Flinders St in the afternoons from Parliament anymore. Sigh. But at least I managed to get one off someone who didn't need it, yay. Got to Sunshine around 3:45, proceeded to walk to the library to wait for her, and during my waiting I did notice two dudes just randomly at the roundabout cussing at each other for reasons I don't yet understand. But meh, Sunshine is a weird place.

Elizabeth finally came and then we walked together back to her store. Conversations we had were generally about work experience, school, children (she does the storytime sessions with the kids, it seems), the possibility her parents finding out about us and uhhh, sleep (lol). It was a very short walk, but I guess it's longer than most of the time we have to actually talk to each other than usual. It's a shame she only has work experience for a week though. Thought about giving her a hug that I was meant to some time ago, but resisted because my mum had came to pick me up. So we said our goodbyes and headed off on our separate ways. Sigh.

And now I'm home, tired and dreading that I have tutor in an hour. Maybe nopt dread, just lazy. But hey, at least I'll have Born This Way to listen to while i'm there. Muahaha.

Just cause i'm set to die (eventually) doesn't mean I should just stop chronicling my mundane life or whatever.

Anyway, woke up at 9:20am, almost missed the train to sport, omg. Ended up getting there 4 minutes late, almost got a detention, wtf. Anyway, went and lost all of my matches. As usual. The only improvement being, I managed to win two sets (facepalm). Post-sport, me and my mate Dan stopped at Coles in East Richmond to grab something to eat, and they were selling 2L bottles of soft drink for 50c each, and we were both like "wooaaaaah" -starry eyes-. It was pretty awesome, and the weather outside today was pretty great, too. Got home, had lunch, got a haircut (thankgodmyhairwasreallygettingannoying) and then proceeded to go grocery shopping with my mum, like a boss. Afterwards got home, went to church, had a very boring Rapture, watched some Sherlock (pretty epic stuff, I must say) and played some Half Life 2 for shits and giggles. And here we are again, it's always such a pleasure. (Blogging)

postscript: as for an update on Lavender, he has become a bit... insane. Which is worrying. Because I've been shaking quite a bit lately, and the mosquito bite on my wrist isn't helping much at all. Trying much to keep him under control. I hope. Oh well, 10 days to go.
